Millennium’s
Commitment to the Community

Millennium’s Guiding Principles include commitment to our community, profitability in order to give to our community, and family. In support of these Principles, Millennium has a culture of volunteering time and talents and encourages all team members to serve. In fact, team members are given several hours of work-time each month to serve the group of their choice.
Some of our recent work includes:
MBC Team Activities :
• Preparing meals for delivery at Project Open Hand
• Creating shoebox Christmas packages for Samaritan’s Purse’s Operation Christmas Child
Individual Team-Member Activities:
• Serving as a Board Member on the Council on Alcohol & Drugs
• Leading and Chairing a local support group
• Supporting and providing services for a local college ministry
• Conducting fundraisers for animal shelters
• Donating to the United Way Shoebox project
• Volunteering with various projects and needs at St. Vincent DePaul
• Coordinating the Giving Tree Christmas Program - 3,000 Christmas gifts
• Coordinating Box Tops & Labels for Education for a local elementary school
• Serving on the advisory board of a local High School Council
• Sorting and distributing food at the Atlanta Community Food Bank
• Donating school supplies to Kids in Need
• Serving at church as a children’s nursery volunteer
• Co-Chairing Grandparents Day at a local school
• Leading a small group for college girls
Yes, we are a business, but underneath the business
we are committed to our community and recognize the value in serving
others.
